Event Details

DC Strokes Rowing Club has held a masters sprint regatta for the last 27 years. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 regatta has been cancelled. Keeping active and a sense of community are more important now more than ever, so DC Strokes created Virtual 2020 Stonewall Regatta: Row/Run/Ride.


Quaran-Team Challenge (Week-Long Event)
Individuals and Quaran-teams (pairs, fours, and eights) will row, run, or bike as much as they can for the week starting on the normal date for the Stonewall Regatta: 7 June 2020, and log them via the process below. Scoreboards will attempted to be updated daily. Points will be tallied for both individual and teams. Points will be awarded as follows:

  • Erging: 1 point per 2000 meters
  • Running/Walking: 1 point per 1600 meters
  • Biking: 1 point per 5000 meters

Row/Run/Ride Sprint Triathlon (6 June or 7 June)
Enter as an individual or as a team! Our Erg/Ride/Run Triathlon consists of the following legs:

  • 2000 meter Row
  • 15 km Bike
  • 5 km Run

All triathlon legs for both individual and team events must be completed sequentially at some point during the first weekend (Saturday 6 June or Sunday 7 June) of Stonewall 2020.

1000 meter Rowing Sprint (7 June 2020)
Just like all the events at Stonewall: 1000 meter sprint, but now on a Concept2 rowing erg! Race 1000 meters on a Concept2 Indoor Rower (Model A-E rowers only, no Dynamic or indoor rowers on Slides).


We will be giving awards out for Mens, Womens, and Mixed boats in the following categories:

  • Singles
  • Pair/Doubles
  • Fours/Quads
  • Eights/Octuples

Times will be added together to determine the winner for 2/4/8-person races.
