Boedeker has spent years coxing womens crews, and cites those who came of age before Title IX as his inspiration. He's worked with plenty of rowers who have proven it's never too late to learn to row... and win!

Draminksi came to rowing in her 20s after a youth spent running middle- and long-distances. A recent transplant to San Diego, she's now a member of SDRC.
